Our School’s Mission:

  • The goal of our school is to bring joy in learning, that is, to uncover the latent potential of students from within.
  • Classes are conducted by specially trained teachers.
  • Inside the school, English-speaking, handicrafts, music, drawing, institution-based sports, swimming, physical education, and special education are integral parts of the curriculum.
  • History and science subjects are taught through a museum-based approach.
  • To encourage students to observe nature closely, educational trips, seminars, and workshops are organized at designated times during the academic year.
  • History, geography, and science subjects are taught through project-based learning.
  • The knowledge acquired by students through active participation in tasks becomes practical. Therefore, the more the learning content is activity-based, the more students’ engagement will increase. Hence, the curriculum of this school adopts various activity-centered approaches.

School Uniform

  • For boys: White sky-colored shirt, file half pants, white socks, black shoes.
  • Boys must wear innerwear (briefs).
  • A white handkerchief must be carried at all times.
  • During sports class, boys must wear white pants and a sky-colored vest.
  • The tie with the school’s name/logo must be purchased from the school.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Students must wear the prescribed school uniform and attend school every day in proper attire.
  • No cooked non-vegetarian food should be brought for tiffin.
  • Books, notebooks, erasers, water bottles, handkerchiefs, and other necessary items must be brought to school every day in proper order.
  • If the monthly fee is not paid by the 10th of each month, a fine of ₹50 will be charged.
  • Parents should not remain in the school premises after their child enters the primary school section.
  • The school provides transport services for students. The transport fee must be paid by the student’s guardian. (The transport fee will be determined based on the distance covered in kilometers).
  • Students must arrive at school at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Students are required to attend all Antardipan Trust’s events.
  • If any student behaves inappropriately or violates school or trust rules, the authorities will take necessary action.
  • Special provisions for education are made for orphaned students at the school.
  • A maximum of 20 students are admitted in each class.
  • Every educational subject in the school is prescribed by the board.
  • Government benefits such as Kanyashree/ Shikhashree are available.
  • Admission fees are non-refundable.

Exam Schedule:

  • There are three semesters in March, June, and September, with the annual exam held in December. The syllabus and evaluation criteria for each exam are set by the Primary and Secondary Education Board.

Medium of Instruction:

  • Education is provided in both Bengali and English.
  • From Pre-primary to 4th grade, Mathematics and Science are taught in English.

School Timings:

  • The school runs every Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • The school is closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
  • The Principal or Headmaster is available for meetings on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
  • Discussions with subject teachers are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
  • The approximate number of school days in a year is 230.

Office Hours:

  • The school office operates daily from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Subjects (Exam-based):

  • Language Subjects: Bengali/English/Sanskrit, Hindi
  • Science Subjects: General Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer, Nature Study
  • Human Resource Subjects: History, Geography, Ancient Heritage, Bratachari
  • Sports Subjects: Yoga, Exercise, Wrestling, Karate (any two subjects must be chosen)
  • Cultural Subjects: (a) Acting, Dance, Singing (any one subject must be chosen)
    (b) Drawing, Handicrafts (any one subject must be chosen)

These subjects are applicable and mandatory for students from 2nd to 9th grade.

Special Opportunities:

  • Bright students who are economically disadvantaged receive a 50% discount on admission fees.
  • Various self-reliance projects are available for parents under the “Antardipan Industrial Education Temple” department.
  • A self-reliant welfare cooperative, “Antardipan,” has been formed for parents.
  • Monthly discussions are held with parents about their children’s educational and mental progress.

Workshops

Organising workshops for school students, focusing on the subjects of History and Science, is also our vital work. These interactive sessions aim to deepen students’ understanding and appreciation of both subjects. Through engaging activities and discussions, we encourage critical thinking and creativity, fostering a love for learning. Our workshops are designed to inspire young minds, helping them connect historical events and scientific principles to the world around them.
